Hi,

I have a SLES11 image installed and up to date with security patches.
It has been live for just over a week. Reboots have taken place due to
implement security updates, fixes, etc with no problem.
Just today, it was rebooted to verify that services required on boot
would come up. It has now been 30 minutes since the reboot. At a 3270
console, the image appears to be stuck at 'Scanning for LVM volume
groups...'. The IPL messages from the beginning to the lvm scan are as
follows:

Scanning for LVM volume groups...

I have tried rebooting several times. The dasd[d-h] are separate LVMs.
Any help would be appreciated.
