lvdisplay -m /dev/<VG name>/<LV name>
will display the physical volumes and extents for a logical volume.

Pvscan will tell what physical volumes belongs to what volume group, if any.

Lvscan will tell what logical volumes are defined.

The only way I figured out how to do it is to compare the minor
numbers of the /dev/dm-* files with the /dev/mapper/* files and match
them up.
