z/VM listservers,

This may seem like a stupid question for those having worked with VM for many
years, but I'm trying to bring up a VMTEST 2nd level VM guest under z/VM for
testing, etc., and following this guide:

http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/zvm/v6r1/index.jsp?topic=/com.ibm.zvm.v610.hcpa0/basinst.htm

Within the 3 MDISKs defined in Figure 16, there appears to be OVERLAP in the
cylinders allocated.

Is this a typo in the guide or is this something that is supposed to be done
for some reason to create the 2nd level VM?
