I've a challenge that I'm hoping someone here can assist with.

I've a server that failed to connect to the Novell center for updates. I
checked the novell center and it hadn't connected for over a year (I was
able to connect 4 months ago to do the SLES 10 sp2 to sp3 upgrade so I
don't know what the last contact date really means).

Last week I checked YaST Online Updates and it would not connect. I called
the novell customer resolution center who suggested removing the server
from the novell center and then running suse_register again. I did that
with no luck. They then suggested following the guidelines in TID 3303599,
which basically says to delete all of the zmd files related to the
registration. I did that with no luck either. (Note I had another server
with a similar issue and the TID steps resolved things there).

Has anyone any recommendations to resolve this as I need to connect to do
a YaST Online Update to get the latest kernel update.

Thanks in Advance

Lionel
