AIX and iOS (nee OS/400) run on Power hardware and can run under PowerVM. z/VM only allows for z architecture systems to run. I guess if you could write a Power ISA emulator,it might be possible to run them. But getting a license is a whole 'nother question. Linux on Power also runs under PowerVM. And "Linux is Linux" (ref: "parts is parts")
