Are you kidding?  Some of us patch for security.   Frequently.   Very 
frequently.   90 days would be a cause for celebration.

Sometimes its annoying to have to do so many reboots, but you can be assured we 
do them because they are important.  

That said, I've admin'd SLES systems which had 1000+ day uptimes, but they had 
no internet access and were strictly internal systems. So, it depends :)

Also, as I am new to the list and the Z world, I am looking forward to meeting 
folks on the list at share.org next month.  My contact with the Z community has 
been uniformly very welcoming.
