My VM/Linux guy came to me with a several disparate displays (a HMC Activity Display, a TMONMVS LPAR Summary screen and s RMFIII Overview/CPC Summary screen) of a sandbox VM system not running any guest machines, Linux, etc. but is running with one *dedicated* IFL.
Here is the question: Why does the HMC show 1% busy and the other two show 100 logical busy and 50% physical busy? The other IFL is running two VMs with Linux guests and the utilization matches (approximately) on all three displays. Any clues would be appreciated!
