So I used yast2 to configure it. It updates the /etc/sysconfig/kdump It puts all the disks found in as exceptions to the cio_ignore=all
And when loaded: Jun 26 16:56:08 cdztv17085 kdump[13953]: Loaded kdump kernel: /sbin/kexec -p /boot/image-3.0.101-0.31-default --append="root=/dev/disk/by-path/ccw-0.0.0101-part1 TERM=dumb elevator=deadline sysrq=yes reset_devices zfcp.allow_lun_scan=0 cio_ignore=all,!0191,!0101,!0102,!0103,!0104,!0105,!0106,!0107,!8000,!8001,!8002,!8003,!8004,!8005,!7000,!9000,!9001,!0009,!3000,!3001,!3002,!ff00,!ff01,!ff02,!ff03" --initrd=/boot/initrd-3.0.101-0.31-default-kdump , Result: If I add more minidisks,is this going to update itself? Or do I have to remember to do that. If so I think I'd be better off without the cio_ignore, wouldn't i? Marcy This message may contain confidential and/or privileged information.
