It must be an outdated IBM document. I can successfully run the " VMFBTMAP ALL" command under maint630 id and now I can have a smaller customized RSU for z/VM system.

I followed an IBM document with this "VMFBTMAP ALL" command under maint ID to generate a z/VM service reports to list the fixes install on z/VM systems, it reported the following errors: VMFBTMAP ALL VMFUTL2767I Reading VMFINS DEFAULTS B for additional options VMFBMP2304E The Software Inventory disk (51D) must be accessed as D with R/W status VMFBMP2760I VMFBTMAP processing completed unsuccessfully Do I suppose to run the command under maint630 or maint?
