I spent a few hours this morning manually applying all known patches to SLES 12. My LV still comes up as 'NOT available' after a system reboot.
I just tried the following to no avail: vgchange -ay (LV status changed to available) pvscan -v vgscan -v lvscan -v I then went to yast | System | Services Manager and Enabled and Started both lvm2-activation-early and lvm2-activation. When I clicked OK to save the configuration change I again received the pop-up which contained a message stating that there were no Volume Groups found. This is very frustrating.
