Hello all,

My cohort is trying to convert our last SLES11SP2 system to SLES11SP3. So far,
we have made two attempts, but keep running into a dependency problem.

Early on, we get the following :
zlib-devel-1.2.3-15.2.s390x requires zlib 1.2.3 but this requirement cannot
be provided.

deleted providers zlib-1.2.3-106.34.s390x

Possible solutions
Following actions will be done. See below.

deinstallation of zlib-devel-1.2.3-15.2.s390x

break zlib-devel-1.2.3-15.2.s390x

This is a SAP central instance.

Looking at software management, we see:

???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
? ?Name ?Summary ?Avail.

   i ?zlib-32bit?Data Compression Library ?1.2.7
     ?1.2.3 ? ?
? i ?zlib-devel?Include Files and Libraries mandatory for Development.?
     ?1.2.3 ? ?

Any ideas on how to satisfy the dependencies?

Looking at the other SAP systems, all they have installed is the zlib and the
zlib-32bit packages.
