I haven't played with Debian for ages, but that doesn't sound right to me.

If you're going to have an entire 3390-3 for your root file system, there's no 
need to break /boot out as a separate file system.  If you decide to do that 
anyway, I would make it larger than 60MB.  You might find yourself in a 
situation where you want to have a number of different kernel versions with 
different initrds, etc.

BTW, you do know that you can download SLES or RHEL (I'm sure you'll understand 
if I say I would prefer you use SLES) at no cost and try it out for as long as 
you want, right?  With SLES, you can even get 180 days of maintenance.
