Yes. If the same PVs are attached to the guest and are online, then the system will see them and by default activate the VG(s). You could then mount all LVs you had in /etc/fstab on the old system. Sounds like you're using a fresh installation (since you say "copy the fstab entries") in which case you also have other volumes (packs or partitions or logical or otherwise) and that's fine. So, yes, copy in the old fstab entries which identify the logical volumes and then 'mount -a'. Be sure that the PVs are in fact online. You might need to re-create your INITRD so this is done automatically at boot time, every time.
