Lots of panicky customers today in my world. [sigh] Some of us are curious if 32-bit kernels are less vulnerable to Meltdown or Spectre. Page table manglement is different between 32/64 on most architectures. (Especially different in the INTeL world, but others too, beyond just word size.) Reports are that 32-bit Windoze is vulnerable. -- R; <>< ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For LINUX-390 subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [email protected] with the message: INFO LINUX-390 or visit http://www.marist.edu/htbin/wlvindex?LINUX-390 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For more information on Linux on System z, visit http://wiki.linuxvm.org/
