I'm trying to setup HyperPAV on our SLES 11.4. From documentation I read I must define a full-pack minidisk in form: MDISK basevdev devtype DEVNO rdev mode OR MDISK basevdev devtype 0 END volser mode I used DEVNO and I believe I was able to setup everting right (I see alias device in lsdasd -u). However, when I run dasdfmt on base , I lose VM label from DASD. Is there a way to preserve label on cylinder 0 ? We reference them in other programs.
