I’ve added a couple of extra examples:

  1. There is an REXXIUCV package in the VM Downloads site
(http://www.vm.ibm.com/download/packages/rexxiucv.vmarc) that contains RISERVER
and RICLIENT EXECs that demonstrate how to use the facility for a simple
client/server exchange. I have written an riclient program that may be run on
the Linux side that will talk to the RISERVER running in a CMS guest
  2. Another program will connect to the *VMEVENTS system service and report
the events to the console. It requires the virtual machine have the IUCV
*VMEVENT statement in its machine definition.

The source for this is in the src rpm or may be obtained from
https://github.com/nealef/fsiucv.git. The EPEL repository has been refreshed
with replacement fsiucv packages.
