I have customers running the z/VSE Connectors on their IFLs. You get very
high performance using either HiperSockets or OSA. If they are running
z/VM, then just run a VM mode LPAR with the CP and IFL and use VSWITCH with
a virtual network. Also, consider using Linux Fast Path for the connections
where possible.
