No, SAN switch information is not required.  Those details are for humans 
reading HCD reports, not for the machine.  It doesn't matter if you're using 
NPIV or not, p2p or switched.

If SYSTEM CONFIG has an IODF statement in it, the IODF merely constrains the 
list of devices that CP will recognize.
