I thought I would never see the day that Linux would run on an 8086!
Without FPU, extended memory and MMU. Wrote the latest boot and root
images to 360 K floppies, and boots on my PC XT like a charm. I didn't
even RTFM.
Very minimalist at the moment, compared to my experience with MINIX 1.7.
The ls -Fal (my standard ls options) command displays strange
characters when the current directory is the root directory. Will have to
do some digging to see if it is a bug, or an undocumented feature.

     Nice job, all!
