I can't get the mouse to work on my system either, and I wrote MicroWindows.
Al and I are looking into the problem. I recently wrote a test program for select()
that you might test, it was distributed to this list. We hope to have
a solution soon. I think there's a bug in the kernel select() code, but
we're having some problems getting decent debug data. I'll try to spend
some time looking at it tonight.
