Al, first of all, thanks.
The main purpose of that project is to learn how to build a computer system,
just that. Eventually we will be pushed to get something useful done with it.
We cannot change the project specifications much, and one of the things we
really CAN`T change is the amount of memory.
I am thinking that everyone in my class will have something like a controler
done and will have a simple program running on it. I thought it would be very
nice to have elks running. I was thinking of attaching a LCD controler to it
to make a simple computer, something like a palmtop. If I cant do that I will
end up building a controler, like the others, but I still wanted to have elks
as the OS.

The hardware is very simple. Only the 8086 and the least you can have to make
it run. I can get the specifications if you really need it.
Memory is 64k ram and 64k eprom.

I have untill january to present my project.

So, is it possible to do what I`m planning to do?

leosam.
