Hi there, I'm new on the list. I like the ELKS project very much and have tried to do something with it a couple of times in the past without succes. I downloaded version .79 and build it. I had to correct two include definitions in the Makefile in ../arch/i86. But the Image file doesn't boot. Trying to boot it on a *real* 80286 computer failed. It comes to the ...: and than hangs. Putting print statements prove that the booting process commences up to the jmpi 0x0003,0x1002 instruction. I downloaded the images.zip and wrote the comb file to a floppy, that didn't boot on the 80286 either but it did under DOSEMU...... Any hints?? Kees
