Maplin sell them quite cheap. I use one of the ones available in the
University labs.

I successfully build and programmed an image onto a ROM, but could not get
it to boot as I could not find an ethernet card that would take a 64K
ROM.

Yes, this release is for secondary ROMS. In the future it may be possible
to put ELKS in the initial ROM which will be very useful for embedded
systems.
