I too have been running dual 366's at 550 under X without any
problems for the last couple of weeks. I have a Voodoo 3 (running
3Dfx's 3.3.5 X server) and am using the HPT366 controller.

Some of the problems that many people are having regarding
lockup under X *may* be completely unrelated to the
motherboard. On a completely different machine (with some
Intel motherboard) I would often get lockups under X while the
system was sitting idle. I was running XFree86 3.3.1 or 3.3.3
(I don't recall which one). Once I upgraded to 3.3.5, the
problem never happened again. BTW, my old graphics card was
a Matrox Millennium.
