As I noted here a few days ago, that's what I did, in addition to
'append="noapic"'. I'm now on day 8 with no crashes; before this it
would die in less than a day.
Red Hat 6.0, 1 IDE drive, Riva TNT video at 1280x1024, Xfree86 3.3.1
XF86_SVGA, usually doing kernel compiles but idle overnight last night.
I'm betting there are *two* bugs, one APM-related and one
interrupt-related. Either or both might be in the board.
