This is just weird. I'm reading this list for a while now, and running
Linux kernel 2.3.35 (unstable!), and have not yet experienced anything
of what you are talking about. I only get APIC errors once in a while.
I'm running 2 instances of Seti@HOME to get 2.00 load, but it has not
failed me (yet!)...

The APIC errors, I was told, are common when running with 2 CPU's, but
should not occur too often. I don't know this for sure, because this
is the first multi CPU system i'm running.
