I am a little bit concerned about this point. I am not a kernel expert and
would like to understand this. It is said in the various HOWTOs and FAQs
thet Linux is able to recognize the first 64MB only. If you have more than
64MB you have to write the exact amount of memory in a boot parameter.

It seems that new BIOSes have correct a bug that cause all the memory to
be recognized. I know that this is not an explanation. Can someone show me
the light ?
