We have three BP6 systems where I work. They are all somewhere between
stable and rock-solid. My co-worker's machine with QQ BIOS has never had a
lockup in three months of continual and heavy use. An identical machine
recently locked up after a month but we have now upgraded the BIOS. Our
development machine never locks up, but it doesn't run X, and has been
reconfigured and rebooted quite a few times.
My home BP6 machine is fairly stable. Uptimes of about 30 days, and it
still has the original NJ BIOS. It has only ever locked up when running
xscreensaver, otherwise I have no worries....
