i have heard stories on BP6.com messageboards (but not really from
anyone that i personally know, perhaps that makes it a rumor) of being
charged $25US for shipping. it costs much less than that to ship!

there are good vendors, however. i purchased a new 1.1 board that
already had the EC10 mod done (looks production), and it failed to light
up at all. no bios, no beeps, no vid. swapped everything out with known
working parts narrowed it down to the MOBO itself. the vendor (
www.shentech.com ) is sending me a new board, with me only paying the
shipping to return the old one. they were also very reasonable, i think
it was $137US for the bare board.

Anxiously Awaiting UPS.......
