It's much older than RU, I run it, but that was the first one that seemed to
solve the lockups, I've stuck with it as a voodoo thing because some reports
suggested that QQ final was not as reliable.

I was assuming you used 2.2 kernel series, 2.4 has Andre's ATA-100 driver in
it already.
