I was trying to power the speakers directly from the computer PS. Several strange things occurred, and finally, one L-C circuit later, there is still audible noise, so I'm scrapping the project. Powering the speakers from a different PC power supply than the BP6, I only needed to connect power, not ground! The ground of the audio signal cable must have been sufficient. Weird. In any event with a 100 uH and 4700 uF capacitor, noise was essentially zero, except for interrupt noise - move the mouse or hit the disk, and you'd get static. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to live with the AC-DC adaptor. Ed -- =- To unsubscribe, email [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the -= =- body of "unsubscribe linux-abit". -=
