Rob,
I just know MTP (over at BP6.com and VP6-Board.com) is running his
PIII's 700@933 (this is in his signature block: Tiger100 Dual
PIII700E@933). I know my older Tyan board has jumpers for 66 and 100.
And the PowerLeap slockets I have supposedly let me change the core
voltage and FSB. The CPU's I have (400's) came in a slocket upgrade kit
from Evergreen and look like they had been run through the mill. For 40
bucks a pop I could not complain.
I know that there are a couple dual FC (i.e. PIII because of the dually)
boards that sound good other than the VP6. The Epox EP-D3VA and MSI
694D series (check out the reviews at 2CPU.com) seem like alternatives.
Most slot 1 guys have went to slockets. You might try eBay to give you
an idea on prices.
You got me curious now. Might have to pull the old 366's out of the BP6
that our overclocked to 550 and see if they work in the Tyan.
Take Care and Happy Holidays,
Eldon
