Has anyone managed to get a BP6 to work properly with 5 (or even 4) PCI
cards inserted? Mine misbehaves when I add the fourth card (and no,
I do not think I am overloading my power supply as it is a 300W unit)
and the PCI cards keep misbehaving when I remove card #4 until I remove
all the PCI cards and start all over again). It does not seem to
matter which 3 of the 5 cards I start with. Adding #4 causes problems.

System: BP6 with 2x C433 @ 66MHz FSB
        2x 128MB PC133 SDRAM modules
        IDE1 = LS-120/CDROM
        IDE2 = CD-RW/DVD-ROM (both disconnected at present)
        IDE3 = Seagate 20GB/8GB (ATA66/ATA33) both 5400rpm
        IDE4 = removable drive caddy (empty at present)
        AGP = TNT2 M64 32MB

The PCI cards I would like to install are:

        Intel Pro100 ethernet
        Initio Ultra SCSI
        ForteMedia 801 soundcard
        SUNIX dual parallel port
        S3 Virge DX/GX

The SUNIX card does not have bus master capabilities so it can go in slot 4/5
without affecting the other card. The Virge card has no connection to its INTA
line (there is a spot on the board to put a jumper but no pins are present) so
it can go in slot 3 without affecting the HPT366. The other cards seem to
work in any of the other slots.

For example, last night I added a SUNIX 4018A card and my Intel Pro100
card stopped working. The PCI slot arrangement was:

1= ethernet     2 = SCSI        3 = empty       4 = parallel    5 = sound

Win98 reported problems with Pro100 and put yellow (!) next to it in Device
Manager. Linux booted and then started logging lots of error messages about
eth0.
