Same with IE. Like I've shown, you can configure Windows such that it
doesn't load Explorer (or any of the IE components it depends on) at
all.

I haven't used Terminal Server, but on NT/Win2K the shell for each
user is specified in the registry at
HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Microsoft/Windows NT/Winlogon/Shell.

How, by calling the package an OS? What do you think they should do?
Call it an "OS + apps" or an "OS distribution"? Maybe they should
invent a new term?

Hehe, you are expecting TIMMAY! to actually be able to complete what is
essentially a spelling assignment. And that little bit of thinking
required before the spelling begins should pretty much finish him off.

I love that quote, how 'bout this:
Women often inspire men to create masterpieces, and then prevent them
from finishing them.

May I respectfully point out that if you shit on the altar in church you
are likely to get the same reaction from people.
You come into a *nix group (through your cross-posting), you spout out
how terrific you think Windows is, you back up your claims by sayin, "I
provide facts" without actually doing so, you hurl insults at any *nixer
that has an opinion different from your own, you flat out attack any and
all positive *nix claims, you make up negative *nix claims (your recent
'Linux can physically destroy your hard drive' thread where you casually
neglect to mention it is an IDE/ATA problem but insist that it is a *nix
problem), you insist you are superior to every *nixer on the planet
simply because you know Windows, you insist we are a 'cult', etc., etc.,
etc. and then you expect to get a positive reaction from everyone in the
*nix group where you start your attacks.
I'm sorry, but if you want to spout your crap in the Windows groups, go
ahead. But we have enough flamewars amongst the various *nixers (on
differing opinions, with actual facts backing up both sides, imagine!)
without someone constantly telling us how inferior we are because we
don't use Windows. Use what you want, we'll use what we want, leave us
alone and we'll leave you alone.
As for the current Wintroll argument that you are just 'paying us back'
for whatever idiotic Lintrolls hang out in your Microsoft groups, please
save it. I see crap from people like you every day and I have yet to
start an attack thread in any MS advocacy group. In fact, were it not
from people like you cross-posting I probably would have never posted in
any MS advocacy group at all. Just knock it off, get over it, and if
the *nixers bother you that much do not go out of your way to piss them
off. It isn't that hard. Just leave COLA out of your cross-posted
messes. Thank you.

1. One low-income adults are from the lower-end of the intelligence pool
2. Intelligence is genetically linked. Correlation > 0.5 (where
a correlation of 1.0 is absolute correlation)
Thus, it is no great surprise to find out that the stupid children
of stupid low-income adults do worse academically than the smart
children of smart high-income adults.

The less intelligent you are, the poorer you are.
The less intelligent you are, the less intelligent your kids will be.
There is complete agreement on this matter by all involved in
the field of human intelligence research.

I have no problem with that. I, and some others, don't necissarily see
'geek' as a positive and endearing term, but as I said "I find it
humorous...". Also, see my response to Jedi.
Occasionally I find it disturbing, but most of the time I find it funny.
