DISLIN is a high-level and easy to use plotting library for
displaying data as curves, bar graphs, pie charts, 3D-colour plots,
surfaces, contours and maps. Several output formats are supported
such as X11, VGA, PostScript, CGM, HPGL, TIFF, PNG and Prescribe. The
library contains about 400 plotting and parameter setting routines
and is available for several C, Fortran 77 and Fortran 90 compilers.

Version 7.2 of DISLIN is now released for Linux with the following new
features

       - PNG support as output format
       - Calendar axes
       - 3-D bar graphs / 3-D pie charts
       - Cursor routines
       - Quickplots

The supported compilers are GCC, G77, Imagine F, NAG F90/F95,
Absoft F77/F90, VAST/F90, PGF77 and PGF90. Plotting extensions for the
programming languages Java, Perl and Python are included.

All DISLIN distributions for Linux can be used freely.
