[Q] Any web submit/promotion tools available?

I've seen some web site registration / promotions tool available for W95.

Does anyone know of a linux equivalent? 

I would like to automate this process, without using submit-it or other
online tools. So to have a cron job that does the registration at night.

Any solutions appreciated.
