yes oracle is available to linux now - it was just ported not too long
ago, a few weeks to a month i think. oracle has a demonstration package
out that's good for 30 days which you can find on their site
(www.oracle.com/linux). the entire tarball is 140m or so - i just got it
the other day and am hurriedly hacking it up to do stuff within this 30
day trial period so i can show my bosses and stuff so they can buy it for
our machine. good luck
