hi,
This error is coming when i try to port my servers X desktop on to my
m/c. Can anybody help me?
" Fatal server error:
xf86OpenConsole: Server must be running with root permissions.You sholud
be using Xwrapper to start the server or xdm. We strongly advice against
making the server SUID root"
I know that i have a file called Xwrapper in /usr/X11R6/bin/Xwrapper with
the following permissions.( A ls -al on that gave the following details)
-rws--x--x 1 root root 4272 May 5 10:23 /usr/X11R6/bin/Xwrapper
(1) What should i do to get that working? By the way This works when i try
it as the root. The Command i used is
"X -query Wipro " Wipro is my server's name.
