Once I remember the ghostscript is working on my Linux,
but now no more.
I use
% gs chess.ps
It shows me the chess.ps on x-window
% gs -sDEVICE=epson chess.ps
It goes into the GS> and do nothing,
Initializing... done.

Can't find (or can't open) font file ptmr.gsf for font Times-Roman, substituting Ugly.
Loading Ugly font from /usr/lib/ghostscript/uglyr.gsf... 239192 227200 1 done.
