You have to edit the file called "fax" - it's in one of the executable
directories (/usr/bin/, /usr/sbin,... use "whereis fax" to find it). Find
where the fax viewer is defined, and change it from xloadimage to your
favourite bitmap viewer (I use xv).
You might also want to check out mgetty-viewfax (or is it
mgetty-faxview?) You can still use efax for sending and receiving, but use
viewfax to look at them and print them. Use www.filewatcher.org to find it.
