        I have been using cdrecord-1.6.1 with an HP SureStore 8100i.
cdrecord supports track-at-once, cd-at-once, and multi-session
operation.  It only supports SCSI or ATAPI (scsi through ide)
writers.  I am now aware of any other significant restrictions,
but I suggest that you see the documentation for details.
