etc, etc. I really enjoyed all that, wondering why the newbie doesn't ask
"what the hell RTFM means ?" However, sending him apologies is a little 
bit too much. After all he _should_ read the f%^&ing manuals. Still, there
is another way to install. If the program "mc" (Midnight Commander) runs
on your system, you can just select the archive and press ENTER and you
will see the entire directory structure of the .rpm or .tgz file. Then you
can just copy the files in the proper places on your system.
