It's OK, I guess everybody went through that at some point. The man pages
are too often designed to remind, not to teach. Best thing for you to save
time would be to grab a Linux book for beginners (there are a lot of them
nowadays) and just learn what your are looking for at that moment. Just
don't give up :-)
