Hello. I need to set up software on my linux servers to keep track of IP traffic. Currently I am using ipfwadm's IP accounting feature but it's not really adequate. I basically need something that keeps a record of the source, destination, and quantity of traffic going through my server. The more functions I get, the better. At least something along the lines of backing up the info to a remote server at a set interval. Basically, something exactly like ISPs use to bill you on the amount of traffic you create and whether you're headed abroad or wherever. If this isn't the appropriate mailing list for that then PLEASE point me in the right direction, as i've asked around and nobody seems to know of anything other than ipfwadm's (and other firewalls') accounting features, which are either too inadequate or an additional feature to a firewall which i dont need. what do ISPs use? thanks for your help urgrue
