In general, there are no problem with any library incompatabilities.
However, you might come across one or two application or development
packages which have had library upgrades, but for mainstream things
like libc and so on, no problems.
Or else it would hava been released as redhat 7.0 :)
BTW, the new default gnome/enlightemnent desktop with redhat 6.1 is
very cool.
