Have a look at the chips on the board.  One of the larger chips on the
board should be the main controller chip.  Look for a comany name on the
chip, like NCR, Adaptec, etc.  There should also be a number on the chip
indicating the series of the chip.  This should help provide a clue as to
whether it is supported under Linux.  The brand (Umax) is too general to
be of much use in providing input.
