You'd probably be better off buying a S3/Diamond (or Dell) Audio Reciever
box. This has 10mbit ethernet, 10mbit PNA 2.0, very good quality audio out
(line level, headphone and 10w+10w RMS power amp), graphic LCD and IR remote
all for $250.

It runs 2.2.14 on a Cirrus 7212, DHCP/NFS boots (source supplied on the cd
with the box) and is shipping very imminently - not in europe yet though, so
you'd have to get a friend in the USA to get you one (or more).

The only fly in the ointment is that (currently) the only server for it is
on windows; if you fancy rolling your own server it's basically http though.

The software/server is licenced from empeg :)
