We had a commercial product which used the NetWinder's video capture
hardware (unfortunately Rebel has since decided to stop selling rackmount
machines with video capture hardware, so we had to move over to PC based
systems instead). IIRC, we could capture at about 5 FPS, but with 100% CPU
usage. The problem is that the Cyberpro captures into video memory which
is fine for displaying captured video in a window onscreen, but in order
to do anything else with it you have to copy it a pixel at a time over the
PCI bus from the video memory to the main memory.
