Hi all,

Currently, the SA1111 board is using a SMSC9196 ethernet controller which only
supports 10 BASE-T. This chip is supported by ARM linux using the driver for SMC9194.
However, I would like to know is it possible to improve the speed of this ethernet
interface to 10/100 BASE-T. For an example, make a new board which is exactly the
same as this SA1111 board but replacing this SMSC9196 chip with another compatible
chip such that no/minor driver change is needed. Currently, SMSC91C100 and SMSC91C110
from SMC support 100 BASE-T. But I don't know whether they are compaitible with
SMSC91C96.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Leonard Ye
