Hi,
I wonder where to find information about porting linux
to SA-1110/SA-1111 (Assabet/Neponset) combined.
This is what I have done.
1. load angel to Assabet (done)
2. angelboot to load linux to Assabet and boot (done)
3. combine them and run diagnostic manager (done)
4. combine them and run angelboot ----> hang
SW2-2 on; SW2-8 tried both on and off. The others are
off.
When I used the verbose mode of angelboot, it stopped
after printing "other base address = 0xc0800000".
I used gdb and found it (v 1.10.nk) stopped at
angel_io.c:264 if ((ack = serial_getc(serial_fd)) !=
0x1c) {
angelboot.c:297 Angel_DumpPacket(serial_fd);
angelboot.c:232 boot(serial_fd, image_fd, o_image_fd,
&boot_options);
It seems that the problem occurs before booting the
kernel (am I correct?)
Thank you very much for your help.
I am new to developing Linux on Assabet/Neponset. In
fact, I joined the mailing list just today. I believe
this question has been asked and answered in this
list. Please forgive me for posting it here again. I
checked FAQ but did not find anything promising. I
could not search at http://www.arm.uk.linux.org/.
Searching google.com returned lots of kernel patches
which I believe are not the solution to the current
problem. Is there a place I can find the archive of
the messages posted on this list?
Thanks again.
